중앙의 너른 화로에서 구워주는 진퉁 로바다야키. 쿠시로가 로바다야키 발원지이다보니 주변으로 원조집들이 많지만, 여긴 넓고 분위기도 조금은 젊습니다.

I been wanting to try out robatayaki from the original place, Kushiro, and this trip to Hokkaido we fulfilled our wish. Robata Uroko located near the Usamai bridge, where the izakaya , Robatayaki & restaurants located. As we took reference from the Japanese magazine, we managed to secure reservation during weekend. The fishes & seafood were grilled to perfection with juices maintain insides. I love the grilled oysters best with it size as large as a palm, & retains its shape after grilling process. The chicken tigh yakitori with negi was great as well with sufficient marination & lightly salted. We also order grilled flounder. The service was great as well, considering a Saturday evening & booked fully. Very happy & satisfied.

If you have just one night in Kushiro and want robatayaki, this is the place you want to go to!! Excellent robata and counter seats where you can see all the action. You may need a reservation.
